The Joy of Love

Day 1 – What They D0

Today’s assignment was “what they do.” I chose to photograph Taylor as he did what he is becoming known for…playing guitar. I was quite surprised at how easily he became a willing participant.

He had a little trouble being natural until I had him just start playing things he was really interested in. Then, the smiles came and the eyes lit up. I was really happy with the way the natural light played in his eyes, and in some of the pictures, on his guitar.

Day 2 – How They Look

I grabbed Hayden for a quick shoot at the front door. She picked up a cat (of course!) to bring out with her, and I thought,  “Perfect because that’s her!” She’s not one for showing her teeth in pictures, so it is rare that I got such a beautiful grin for the very last picture of the shoot!

So far, I am not listing the information about my pics. I have been using the autofocus and am still learning the camera.
